Making the Case for State Support

On February 24th and 25th, Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost, Scott Waugh, made his annual visit to the State Capitol in Sacramento to meet with legislators in a series of meetings focused on the impact of state support to our campus, as well as specifically addressing topics that were of interest to individual legislators.

As the Chief Operating Officer of UCLA, Executive Vice Chancellor Waugh is well positioned to deliver a macro and granular perspective on the University’s budget, as-well-as promote development and academic initiatives.
