Visit With Elected Officials, Support Good Causes This Holiday Season

With the arrival of the holiday season comes a number of opportunities for advocates and the public to join in philanthropy and good cheer through a number of events hosted in the coming days and weeks by local and state elected officials.

UCLA Government & Community Relations has compiled a list of special events and open houses and wishes you and your families the very best holiday season.

LOS ANGELES CITY COUNCIL EVENTS

Council District 2 – Councilman Paul Krekorian

HOLIDAY FOOD AND TOY DRIVE

When: Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 09:30 AM
Where: First Christian Church in Studio City, CA

Spread the holiday cheer in your community by donating to Councilmember Paul Krekorian’s Holiday Food & Toy Drive. The drive will benefit people in need across Council District 2. Bring one or more items to the event and enjoy free coffee and pastries with the Councilmember.

What to Donate:
• Food: non-perishable food items, including canned and boxed foods and packaged snacks.
• Toys: unwrapped, new toys.
