The U.S. House of Representative’s Subcommittee on Higher Education and Workforce Training invited UCLA Academic Advancement Program (AAP) Director Dr. Charles Alexander to provide testimony at a hearing called “Improving College Access and Completion for Low-Income and First-Generation Students”.

UCLA advocates shared personal narratives of what UCLA has meant to them and their families and why protecting higher education in the state budget should be a priority.
