UCLA Director of Energy Services Lewis Rosman (left) briefs BPW President Kevin James on the new Distributed Control System (DCS) recently installed in the UCLA Co-gen plant to monitor and control the complex utilities systems. The DCS system, completed in October 2013, enables plant operators to electronically monitor critical variables such as steam pressure, chilled water temperature, and campus utility demands.
