Grant Kerr is an accomplished public affairs professional with two decades of experience at the intersection of policy, politics, and regulatory affairs. His career spans Capitol Hill, international relations, the private sector, and multi-client consulting, where he has advised Members of Congress, C-suite executives, and foreign diplomats on complex policy and regulatory issues. He brings expertise in government affairs and policy, appropriations and regulatory strategy, executive communications, coalition management, and organizational strategy. At UCLA, he serves as Senior Director for Federal Relations, where his portfolio includes science, research, tax, and business issues, among others. In this role, he helps shape the university’s engagement with Congress and federal agencies to advance UCLA’s mission of education, research, and public service.
